Inspired by the lavendar farms they saw while driving on holiday in Seattle, WA, Martha and David Stanley decided to retire early, return to their roots in the Cowichan Valley and start a farm of their own. In the Fall of 2004, their vision started to unfold and by the Spring of 2005 they were planting their first lavendar crop.
Damali is in Cobble Hill, down the road from our venue. They have a beautiful B & B for you to look into if you would like to stay close. Unfortunately, their picture page seems to be down right now but if you email the hosts, I am sure they could send you the info. They require a deposit up front to reserve the room.
