Maura this, Maura that

Of course, I noticed all of the black gowns because my bridesmaids still have to find their dresses. But there was no question, that crimson was THE color that popped this year on the red carpet. And one of my best dressed picks (and I am sure I am not alone) was Katherine Heigl. She looked amazing. A buff, modern day Marilyn.

Another fave - Keri Russell in a strapless, organza dress by Nina Ricci.

I have to admit- I liked Jessica Alba’s plum Marchesa gown too. She always seems to nail it.

And one of the all time worst dressed, in my opinion, that evening was Oscar winner, Tilda Swinton, who won for her performance in Michael Clayton. It looks like she pulled that sash off of a window somewhere. What was she thinking??
